Week of 2/19-2/23

Happy Presidents Day!

I hope everyone is enjoying the day off. Just a few reminders this week:

1. Skate City Field Trip: We are heading to Skate City on Wednesday this week! Please make sure your child is at school on time on Wednesday. We will be taking roll and loading up the busses by 9:15. Busses will be departing LES by 9:30. If you are chaperoning, please come ready to go by 9:15 to assist with bus loading. We will not be assigning groups since we will all be together all day!

Please also make sure you pack a disposable lunch for you child if you did not order one from the school. Disposable water bottles are also encouraged if your child wants to bring one on the trip. Please also pack 2 disposable, non-messy snacks for the bus that are labeled with your child's name (if they allow us to eat). Your child will not need to bring a backpack on Wednesday, all they will need is their snacks/lunches/water bottle and a jacket. They will be renting skates at Skate City. We will be returning to school by 2:30 and have an assembly to launch our school fundraiser, the Boosterthon, at 3:00. More info on the Boosterthon will be sent out later this week.

2. Spelling: There will be a spelling list this week. The test will be Friday as usual. Please look for your child's spelling list in their Bobcat Binders!

3. Reading Log Reminder: Please make sure your kiddo is filling out their February Reading Log. These will be due in a few weeks at the end of the month.
