Welcome back!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving with friends and family!

A few things about upcoming events/due dates:

1. We are beginning Eureka Math Module 3! Joy! I sent home the parent tip packet for this module a while ago in Thursday folders. Please let me know if you need another copy and I can send home another one in this week's Thursday Folders.

2. We are beginning Superkids Unit 5 for those of you keeping up with us on the Parent Portal. Spelling will go home as usual this week.

3. November Reading logs will be due this Friday! Can you believe it?!? Where did November go?

4. If your child finished the books in their book bags over break, please send them in by this Friday for new books!

5. The Holiday Shop is coming! We have out class shopping day on Tuesday, December 5th. You can send in money on this day with your child to do a little holiday gift shopping at our LES Holiday Shop! More reminders and info to come.

6. We will be wrapping up our Wether Unit in science with extreme weather! Please expect a small take-home project to come home in Thursday Folders this week. Directions and information will be with the project. Each child will be researching and gathering information on a type of extreme weather. Due dates will be included. This project will be expected to be competed at home. Students will then collaborate on an extreme weather presentation in class as well participate in a fun extreme weather lab!

With that being said, I am in need of some food coloring! Preferably green and blue! (we will be simulating hurricanes, tornadoes, and rain clouds)

Some of you asked for me to post the math fact fluency apps again, so here they are! Please make sure your kiddo is practicing at home! If these are not what you are wanting, google has a lot of resources on math apps for kids.
