This week! (11/6-11/10)

Good afternoon!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Just a few reminders for this week:

1. There is no school for students Tuesday, November 7th.

2. Reading Logs: Your child's new November reading log should be safe inside their Bobcat Binders. Please remind your kiddo to be filling this out each night that they read!

3. Book Bags: If your child is done with their book bag, please return it this week so Mr. and Mrs. Way can get started on getting new book out before Thanksgiving Break!

4. Thanksgiving Break: This year Thanksgiving Break begins on Monday the 20th and goes through Friday the 24th. We get the entire week off!

5. Book Fair: Our class will have our Book Fair shopping day on Wednesday this week. If you want to send in money with your child, please put it in an envelope or bag with their name on it. I am happy to hod onto money until we go shopping on Wednesday.

6. Sight Words: The kids have been doing a great job remembering to bring their sight word books to class. Please make sure you are supporting your child with practicing these words and that they are keeping their books in their binders.

7. Spelling this week: Since we had a few days off of Superkids last week with our field trip (which was amazing! Check out our classes Instagram for photos!) and Halloween, we will be having a different type of spelling list this week. Backpack Pages will review the words/spelling patterns we had last week. So don't be alarmed if your child's spelling words do not match up with the Backpack Pages. This week we are going to focus on spelling numbers!
