This Week!

Good afternoon!

Just a few updates about this week:

1. Math: The kids for homework have a short assignment tonight. We learned one way to solve these problems in class and will explore several other ways tomorrow. I wanted the kids to attempt the way I taught them in class to see who got it and who still needs more support. Don't panic if you can't help your child through this! It took me several times to understand the method behind the madness. We will go over it in class tomorrow.

2. Spelling: Spelling test will be on Friday as usual. Your child's list should be safe inside their BOBCAT binders.

3. Field Day: Field Day is this Friday! Woohoo! More details will be coming home via email Thursday, but please keep in mind to pack your child with snacks, sunscreen, a jacket, tennis shoes, and a water bottle. Thank you those of you that signed up to help Mr. Forbes.

Please make sure your child is remembering their BOBCAT binders daily and that reading logs are being kept up with. Sight word books and book bags will be sent home hopefully in the next few weeks once we get volunteers trained and up and running with those things.
