SUPERKIDS Backpack Page Books

Good evening!

Superkids Backpack Page Books went home this evening! Most of your child's Superkids extended learning (homework) will come from this book. PLEASE MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT GET LOST! :-) This book can stay in your child's backpack. Tonight, your child will have a fluency passage on page 2. Please ensure they read it at least 3 times for fluency practice. I instructed them to put a star at the bottom of the page for each time they read the story. 3 was the expectation. Reading it more is going above and beyond! Homework is graded on a check, plus, minus scale:

minus=incomplete or not turned in

check=on grade level expectations

plus= above grade level expectations (the kids know this as going above and beyond)
