Few Things Following Curriculum Night...

Good evening parents!

It was so good to see everyone that made it to Curriculum Night tonight. If you were not able to make it, I will send home my info packet with your kiddo tomorrow.

Just a quick note on math, we are starting a brand new program this year. Please be understanding if homework is not always consistent. Homework (or Extended Learning) will be in the form of a paper worksheet. If your child has difficulty with any problems on the homework, please have them circle the problem and I will go over it with the class the following day. I never want math to be frustrating. Challenging yes, frustrating no. :-) PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD's BOBCAT BINDER NIGHTLY FOR HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS AND NOTES IN THE "GIVE TO PARENTS' TAB.

SPELLING WILL BEGIN NEXT WEEK. EXPECT A LIST TO COME HOME MONDAY. TESTS WILL BE ON FRIDAYS.

Volunteers who have signed up will be hearing from me in the next week to set up a start date/training day if needed. I would like volunteers to plan on starting the first few weeks of September.

Lastly, we will be running a school store as part of our classroom behavior incentives program. If you have any items you would like to donate for the class store, please send them in.
