Solar Eclipse!

Good afternoon!

I have received some questions about the upcoming eclipse, so I figured I would send out the email now about our plans for viewing! Here is a brief letter from the primary team. Thank you! Also, Thursday Folders came home today, so please send them back to school with your child tomorrow. :-)

Dear Primary Families,

On Monday, the primary grades will be joining the rest of the school to view the solar eclipse. Although we will not have a total solar eclipse here in Larkspur, we will see a 91% coverage of the sun. Each student will receive a pair of safe viewing glasses for the eclipse. We will spend time Monday morning reviewing safe viewing practices for this event and will then be outside for about 30 minutes to see the effects of the pre, mid, and post solar eclipse. This should be an amazing learning opportunity for all of our students!
