Upcoming End of Year Happenings!

Good afternoon parents!

So much is going on in the next few weeks, so I wanted to send you out a condensed version for calrification and for my sanity :-)

Wednesday the 10th is our Cold Stone Spirit Night in Castle Rock from 4:30 - 8:30. Come get ice cream served by LES staff and support your school!

This Friday the 12th, we are going to the Harmony Equine Center to visit the horses, read to the horses, and drop off the donations we collected. Students will be allowed to bring a backpack with thier water bottle, lunch, and jacket with them. Please remeber closed toed shoes. Thanks to you and the kiddos we raised $465.00!!!! We will be spending the money on needed supples for the center. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

Monday the 15th we are going to the Chyenne Mountain Zoo. If you are planning to chaperone, please arrive at the school in the morning with your child. Students will be allowed to bring a backpack with thier water bottle, lunch, and jacket with them. Based on numbers, 3 chaperones will be allowed to ride the bus. I would greatly appreciate volunteers willing to drive. You can set up carpooling as well! Otherwise, plan on meeting us at the zoo around 10:30 (I'm guessing) Please plan on paying for your own tickets! Students are paid for by PTO. Here is the list of chaperones for the trip. Please let me know if I forgot you! I will be assigning kids to these parents:

If you want to come with siblings and hang out with us for the day, feel free! Plan to drive yourself and meet us there.

Wednesday the 17th is the Primary Dance Party! The cost is $15.00 per student and includes pizza and drinks. This will be held in the gym from 4:00-6:00. Please look for a permission slip in Thursday Folders this week.

We are tentatively planning an end of year BBQ on the last day of school. More infomration and a sign up will be sent out next week!
