Kindness Campaign and Stone Canyon

We had a great time at Stone Canyon! The kids had a wonderful time exploring the environment and learning about food chains, animal adaptations, and habitats. Please see our class Instagram for pictures of the trip! I am currently working on setting up a date for us to visit the Harmony Equine Center in the beginning of May. This is a branch of the Denver Dumb Friend League and the facility rescues abused and neglected horses in Colorado. Our class chose to help the Harmony Center and show their kindness by leading a school-wide donation collection on behalf of the Harmony Center. We will be collecting money for the horses through May, so feel free to send in money anytime with your kiddo. We have collection days on Fridays. Look for a flyer in your Thursday folders. Anything helps! Thank you! We will be delivering the items we purchase for the center on our filed trip!
