Week of 3/5-3/9

Good afternoon!

Just a few things coming up this week:

1. New Superkids Backpack Page Books: We are beginning the second half of the Superkids program and your child will be receiving a new Backpack Page Book. It is up to you what you do with the Semester 1 book. We obviously will not be getting through the entire book for Semester 2, but finishing it over the summer would be a great way to keep your kiddo on top pf things over break (just a suggestion). Please remember to encourage your child to keep track of these books and to keep them in their backpacks. I can not give them a grade for doing their homework pages if they don't bring it back to school daily. Thank you!

2. Reading Logs: February Reading logs are due no later than tomorrow. Last week was a little crazy with all the fun Boosterthon happenings, so I extended the due date to tomorrow. New March logs will be coming home in Bobcat binders tomorrow as well.

3. Technology/Read-A-Thon: Since the class raised so much money for the Boosterthon, the kids have earned several prizes! We will be having a Read-a-thon/Technology Day on Friday. Students will be allowed to bring in a blanket or pillow, favorite books, and a device, if approved by you. If you would prefer them not to bring in a device from ho

me, I will have Chrome Books and iPads available. I will send out a reminder later this week. Thanks again for all of the support for the Boosterthon!! The kids also earned a Team Sports Day which we will be doing closer to summer break when the weather is more predictable.
