Weekly Update

Happy Sunday!

Here are the updates and upcoming events:

1. February Reading Logs: Reading logs are due Friday this week. March reading logs will come home Friday.

2. Class Picture Day: Class Picture Day is this Tuesday, the 27th. Please have your kiddos dressed appropriately.

3. Spring Conferences: It is already that time of year again! Conferences will be held the week of March 12th. If you would like to meet with me, please use the following link to access my sign up genius. If you don't have any concerns or if it works better for you not to sign up to meet, I will send home your child's conference packet. This packet will include all the info I would go over with you during the conference. After viewing your child's packet, if you then have questions, you may email me or we can set up a meeting at a later date. If your child also works with Mrs. Geiger and you would like to meet with both of us, please reach out to me individually and we can coordinate a meeting time. If your child works with Mrs. Calhoun, please select a time on Tuesday or Wednesday if you choose to sign up. Thank you!

5. Boosterthon:

Boosterthon is off and running!

Students and staff are so excited to raise money for our amazing specials team! This is not a PTO sponsored event, but rather a fun event aligned with our vision of leading a healthy mind and body. All proceeds will go to our amazing specials teachers to help pay for the tools they need to make specials a wonderful place to learn. If you have not already done so, please log into Funrun.com and sign your child(ren) up today!

Students will continue to have a unique experience throughout the rest of next week. They will participate in character building activities, be encouraged to try and excel in their goal of running 35 laps on race day.

Are you interested in volunteering the day of the race?

Please let your teacher know if you are interested in counting laps and/or handing out water to our fast runners! The fun run will be held this Friday in the morning.

Please note that parents are all welcome to cheer on the entire school, however we respectfully ask that we reserve the race for students only!

Have a great week!!!
